Cranberry (vaccinium oxycoccus) is a red fruit also known as Cranberry.
A shrub of the Ericaceae family, it grows mainly in acidic peat bogs in cold regions. Traditionally, Native Americans used cranberry in various culinary uses for its many properties.
Its acidulated juice and astringent so particular is commonly consumed in Anglo-Saxon countries.
